Standard Quotation Terms & Conditions

Quotations are valid for 28 days from the date of issue.

All installation works to be carried out in a single uninterrupted visit, during normal working hours. The installation will include our standard perimeter fixing and sealant detail, any additional fixing plates, trim sections or aluminium pressings are chargeable. Parking is assumed to be on site or within a close proximity to site i.e. no more than 50 metres away. Parking permits should be provided if required. Access is assumed to unrestricted and will be confirmed at survey. We expect the site to be compliant with normal health and safety rules and expectations. We reserve the right to cancel an installation if the site is deemed unsafe by our installation team and cannot be made safe immediately or within a reasonable time frame to allow all works to be completed on schedule. We also reserve to make a charge of a single day rate for installations aborted because of health and safety violations. Extra charges for hire equipment may be applicable for large glass units.

Payment Terms

For Supply and installation – 40% deposit, 55% payment due 7 days prior to installation commencement, and the final 5% on completion.

For Supply ONLY – 50% deposit and the remaining 50% 7 days prior to delivery.

We accept the following methods of payment. Online via BACS or Direct Transfer, Bankers Draft and Cheque.

Please note

All estimates are based on our interpretation only and therefore we recommend that you check all sections and quantities for yourself.

All Building Control requirements are deemed to have been ascertained and approved by others; all relevant and related topics will have been calculated and notified to Klosen prior to preparation of this estimate. This applies to, but is not limited to: ventilation, structural requirements, means of escape, glazing, heat loss, guarding, access for cleaning and safe operation of windows.

We do not as standard include for any pressed aluminium flashings, coverings or bespoke trims.

Trickle vents will not be included as standard unless requested.

We reserve the right to charge a reasonable amount if an installation date must be aborted for a reason not caused by Klosen. This can be but is not limited to: openings not being ready, access not available, health and safety risks and building works not being completed as required. Klosen will never charge for aborted installation visits down to adverse weather conditions.
